Background
Lori first encounters Slenderman in the winter of her sophomore year of college (likely late 2003 or early 2004). During the incident, she is struck by a car and hospitalized, which inspires her to enroll in medical school after receiving her B.A.[ref] It's implied that she never completed her M.D., although she also states that she did start a residency at one point.
